Sphere

Sculptures in resin and mixed media

Sphere is a series of hand-made spherical sculptures, each 50 cm in diameter, created between 2023 and 2025 in resin, plaster, polystyrene, paper, glass, iron, ink, oil and light.

Every culture has given the sphere the same meaning: wholeness. It has no beginning and no end. It holds energy, silence, mystery. My work with the sphere did not start from geometry, but from intuition.

Each sculpture is built in layers, and each layer is a different time: transparent, opaque, luminous, rough. Making one sphere by hand means facing the idea of perfection. Making many means admitting that perfection has more than one face: the personal, the collective, the eternal.

Some spheres come out smooth and silent, like distant planets. Others crack and open, showing the tension between control and chaos, between form and erosion.

They are meant to be looked at closely, almost touched: small worlds where matter and spirit meet, and where something we cannot name still takes shape.

Sfera

Sculture in resina e tecnica mista

Alcune sfere nascono lisce e silenziose, come pianeti lontani.
